Reviews and Ratings
Despite the low season with many vacant rooms, my stay at the hotel was quite pleasant. The rooms, although not as expected from the photos, were clean and spacious, offering a taste of the region's cuisine with delightful trout, veal, and locally smoked hams. However, the absence of heating made the dampness noticeable.
I found the hotel to be quite basic and adequate, but the room was small and quite uncomfortable due to the low, sloped ceiling near the beds. The service was really friendly and helpful, but the location was difficult to find with GPS at first. The dining options were generally standard for a European hotel.
Our anniversary stay at the hotel was delightful, with champagne and chocolate cakes to celebrate. While the room lacked air-conditioning, the cool mountain temperatures offset this. The location near the national park and lakes was superb, offering easy access to attractions.
My stay at the hotel was really nice overall. The rooms had everything we needed, were small but cozy, and perfect for 2 couples or families visiting the park. They were spacious and comfortable, although we did spot some cobwebs on the ceiling and mosquitoes squished on the walls and curtains. The service was reasonably friendly, offering a free ride from Supetar to Bol and helping us with navigating the island, but there were times they weren't readily available. The location was excellent, being very close to the beautiful waterfalls and lakes of Plitvice National Park, ideal for exploring the area. The dining experience was good, with a satisfying breakfast selection, even though it was a bit pricey. The facilities were decent, with a hot tub, sauna, and parking available for hire.
I found the hotel to be a cozy retreat up in the mountains, offering a nice homely feel in the rooms. The lack of air-conditioning was a minor downside, but the coolness up in the mountains compensated for it. The service was exceptional, with helpful tips for exploring the lakes. The location was charming, just a forest walk away from the lakes, though the shower holder was a bit tricky to use. The breakfast was generous in variety, but it lacked hot food options. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few minor quirks.
The hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms for a family of four, including plain but clean accommodations. The staff are attentive and diligent, with welcoming service. While the location is near the Nationalpark, it may be challenging to find with GPS. The dining experience is a very good value for money, serving local dishes with local ingredients. Overall, a great choice for visiting the Plitvice Lakes National Park.
